Demo Flights (Starting at $139!)
A demo flight is the best and least expensive way to try your hand at flying. You do not need any previous experience! All you need is the drive and excitement to try something so unique. Less than 1% of the population have their pilot’s license and if you want to be amongst a unique group of individuals—such as Amelia Earhart, Morgan Freeman, Charles Lindbergh, Clint Eastwood, Neil Armstrong, Angelina Jolie, Harrison Ford, Bruce Dickinson, John Travolta, and many more—then the first step would be to take a demo flight!
We understand that this is a new, exciting adventure for you. That is why we ensure that you will not only take home new aviation knowledge, but also create memories that will last a lifetime! From the very beginning you will feel at ease with our professional flight instructors and well-maintained airplanes. Our goal is to ensure you have an amazing time, while keeping safety a priority. Prior to the demo flight, we will go through a series of safety inspections as we begin your very first lesson. You will quickly notice that Pacific Air uses new, state-of-the-art airplanes equipped with advanced avionics and traffic information systems (allows us to see all other aircraft in the vicinity). Throughout the flight we will do our very best to give you a memorable experience by having you at the controls 90% at the time! Don't think you can handle doing all of it? Think again. By the time we land you'll be left wanting more, guaranteed!
For the low cost of $139, your flight will include the following:
- A discussion of what it takes to become a private pilot
- An introduction to how an airplane flies and how to control it
- A walk-around tour of the airplane you will be flying
- Taxiing the airplane
- Takeoff (Yes! You do it all!)
- Basic maneuvers in the air
- Flight back to airport
- Assisted touchdown and landing
- Airplane Securing
- Finally, we will have a question & answer session to answer any further questions you may have
All in all, you will do 90% of the flying! While you're at it, bring someone along to share the joy of flying! They will sit comfortably in the back seat. You can expect to spend about 1½ hours, whereby 30-45 minutes will be spent in the airplane.
Remember to bring your camera! You definitely will want to capture your very first flight!

*Notes:
- Flights will be approximately 35 minutes long out of Long Beach Airport.
- Please inquire about demo flights out of other airports.
- You can extend the flight to a full hour for $239.
